November’s Covid 19 Update
Following the Government’s announcement on the Saturday the 31st of October and with another lockdown from the 5th of November, it’s high time we published a Covid 19 update to keep you all informed.
Since the start of the Covid 19 pandemic, car and van hire businesses are designated ‘essential services’ and we’ve taken all necessary steps to ensure that Westwood Motor Group can remain open and operating, with enhanced Covid Safe sanitisation procedures adopted throughout. Our hardworking team are well practiced in the procedures we’ve adopted to keep themselves and our customers safe.
For those staying safe at home, many unable to leave, the nationwide logistics network has stepped up to ensure that the increased demand for deliveries is met. A demand that’s likely to increase during Novermber as it did during thr first lockdown. In order to make sure that essential supplies reach their destinations, extra vehicles are required. Vehicles we’re proud to be able to supply and are working hard to continue to do so.

Covid Safe Procedures
If you’ve visited us recently you’ll have already spotting that for some time we’ve had the following in place;
- Perspex screens throughout
- Clear visors and/or facemasks worn by our team when not behind screens
- Hand sanitiser provided
- Requirement for visitors to wear facemasks (disposable masks available if you forget yours)
- Vehicle keys and office surfaces/touchpoints regularly disinfected
Vehicle Rental Services
With vehicle rental being so essential in these difficult times, we’re operating as normal in order to provide the best service.
Servicing and Maintenance
Similarly, keeping vehicles on the road and in tip top shape is amongst our priorities, so our service bay will also be open as usual.
Sales and Used Vehicles
While we’re delighted to continue to offer the sale of our ex-fleet used vehicles, we’re able to offer the following in order to further minimise risk;
- Telephone enquiries welcome
- Viewing via video link available
- Detailed photographs published on our website
- Reserve and collect service
Opening Hours – Covid 19
For the duration of the new lockdown, we’ll be open during normal hours on weekdays, although we may be operating on reduced hours during the weekend. Please bear with us.
