J.Dot Couriers Add To Their Fleet
We’re always delighted to look after local businesses, so it was with great pleasure we welcomed Wayne and Helen from Wigan based J.Dot Couriers to our head office in Ince so that they could take advantage of our unbeatable van hire deals and add these smart, upgraded Ford Transit Custom vans to their rapidly growing fleet.
The success story of J.Dot Couriers is nothing short of inspiring. Helen and Wayne are a husband and wife team who went from working together in separate departments of another courier company to founding their own company just two years ago.
In that short time, through hard work, experience and determination, they’ve grown exponentially. From just the couple of vans they started with, they now deliver across the NorthWest with their fleet of 54 vans (which we’ve just added to) as well as 12 owner drivers.
At a time when getting out to pick up anything from essential groceries to clothing, consumer goods and appliances is made increasingly inconvenient by the current lockdown restrictions, it’s no surprise that people are turning to shopping online.
Greater demand for transport and for deliveries of pretty much anything that can be transported and delivered, means that the demand placed on courier and logistics companies has increased exponentially this year. However, as an industry, they’ve risen to the challenge magnificently and we’ve been proud to be able to provide the vehicles they need so that they can distribute supplies and create employment, all of which are sorely needed in the current climate.
