NS Telecoms Get Twice The Splice At A Great Price!
At Westwood, we understand that for some of our customers, their van hire is just the start, they have specialised needs for the job they do and their vehicles will need to be kitted out to their exacting requirements. Such was the case with NS Telecoms.
Founded in July last year by Wigan born and bred siblings Shelby and Nathan Monks, NS Telecoms provides the latest in fibre network build services for ‘alt-nets’ (short for alternative networks), bringing the benefits of super-fast fibreoptic cable communications to a whole range of customers. Whether it’s TRR, cabling, splicing, testing, faulting or even full network design NS Telecoms have the expertise to match the task. NS Telecoms are located between Manchester and Liverpool, making it easy for tem to provide their superb services to either of these great Northern cities and the surrounding areas.
Despite being just under a year old, but with over 15 years prior experience in the telecoms industry, NS Telecoms has enjoyed great success and has grown substantially. With the number of team members having also grown far beyond just Shelby & Nathan.
A growing company needs reliable transort and this is where Westwood comes in. Having grown up in nearby Hindley, Shelby and Nathan had often been driven (and later driven themselves) past our Ine head office, seeing it grow over the years and we were privileged to be their first choice when it came time to look at obtaining vehicles for their new business.
Did you know that we can arrange a growing number of customisations for our long term hire and sales customers? We’ve been very pleased to do this for the team at NS Telecoms, giving them vehicles they can drive away and put to work immediately.
They’ve chosen this pair of longer, taller Renault Trafic vans and our very own Andy Casson has overseen the customisation of these already high spec vehicles into the mobile fibre splicing stations they’ve become. This has involved arranging for chapter 8 stickering, flashing beacons and more for safety on highways and building sites as well as NS Telecoms own smart livery. Internally there’s been custom racking and workbenches fitted so the NS Telecoms team are able to work anywhere and everywhere with their tools and supplies within easy reach. All contained within smart, high spec vans that are tall enough to stand up in.
We could tell you that the NS Telecoms team were delighted when they came to collect their new vans, but we don’t need to, Shelby was kind enough to say the following;
