The driving experince, as you’d expect, is second to none. The cosseting ‘Body and Soul Seat’ doesn’t just deliver wellness programmes, it also delivers a sound experience a step beyond cinematic. The ‘SUBPAC’ sound system ensures you not only hear every nuance of your chosen driving soundtrack, but feel it too. This is in addition to the 29 speaker Meridian sound system gracing the cabin.
The soundtrack you’ll likely most appreciate however is the distinctive note from the stainless steel and carbon fibre clad quad exhaust system which delivers a musical accompaniment to your journey all of its own. This glorious tone is never more apparent than when you select the glowing SV button on your steering wheel and feel your Rangerover getting ready to unleash its full power. The body lowers, the suspension tightens, the throttle response becomes sharper and the weight of the wheel increases in your hands. The Range Rover Sport SV Edition 2 might keep all its power under dignified control most of the time, but if you have the temerity to invoke SV mode, prepare for the claws to be unsheathed and for fire and fury to be unleashed as the cabin glows red in response and you feel the full power of the 4.4 litre twin turbo V8 at your command.
