On Friday, our good friends at Wigan Youth Zone hosted another of their activity based business networking events ‘Be A Kid For The Day’.

We’re proud to give back to the Town that’s given us everything by getting behind some truly magnificent local good causes.

It’s Nearly December and the first event of our festive calendar was the 40th Anniversary Ball arranged by Wigan and Leigh Hospice.

When we start enthusing about a Caddy, Golf or a terrific driving experience, we’re normally talking Volkswagens! Not this time though!

Barnabus is a Manchester based charity, established in 1991 with one man, concerned by the number of homeless people sleeping rough in Manchester, decided to do something about it.

We were proud to welcome veterans from Wigan Armed Forced & Community HQ and to donate this brand new van to this wonderful organisation.

We were absolutely delighted to welcome Dave Bagley of Bolton based charity Urban Outreach, here to collect a high spec’ Renault Master van.

Today we welcomed Berni &Rachel from MyLife charity, picking up this brand new MiniBus, supplied with Mylife’s livery and other accessories.

Over the last few months we’ve been proud to support worthy local causes and Wigan community groups, as they’ve supported those in need across the borough. 

Since the Covid 19 restrictions, the power of local community spirit has been self evident and there have been some true Wigan Borough heroes.

We were delighted to donate a van to Highfield Grange AFC for the weekend of their charity kids football event; the 13th annual ‘Festival of Friendship’.

Wigan Rotary Club do great work all year round. But at Christmas they really do outdo themselves, bringing Father Christmas to local kids. And we helped.
